Albrecht Law is seeking a litigation attorney licensed in Delaware to join our Litigation Division for a remote position.
Our Litigation practice, headed by Travis Ritter, has been busy with high-stakes commercial cases, clients we care deeply about, and cases we’ve been winning.
The Litigation Division maintains a national practice with many of our disputes litigated in Delaware through local counsel.
Litigation Practice Overview
We represent both plaintiffs and corporate defendants in a diverse range of commercial litigation, with a focus on post-closing M&A disputes and plaintiff-side (often contingency-based) business litigation. We work with great clients with compelling cases and align our fee with their success.
We take on high-value cases – often involving tens or hundreds of millions of dollars – against well-funded clients and brand-name law firms.
We don’t raise our voice. We are always professional. We don’t bend the rules. But we are aggressive and surgical with our approach.
Typical cases include:
Post-M&A disputes to unwind deals or recover millions
Rollover equity and earn-out disputes
Multi-jurisdiction business disputes
Post M&A non-compete enforcement and defense
Partnership breakups and disputes
Disputes between founders and private equity firms
Role Requirements
This role is for attorneys who view litigation as craft, love the practice, and care about the causes and people you represent.
We are a remote-first law firm. We work hard. But aside from court appearances, you can work from anywhere.
You will work directly with our Litigation Chair, Travis Ritter. You should be licensed in Delaware and able to handle matters both independently and collaboratively.

Our current practice is national, and your work can extend to many interesting cases outside of Delaware.
We collaborate closely with Albrecht Law’s other practice areas, including M&A, Tax, and International Trade.

About Albrecht Law’s Litigation Chair
Travis Ritter is the Litigation Chair at Albrecht Law. He handles a wide range of litigation and pre-dispute counsel to companies and individuals across the country.
Travis formerly worked for two of the leading commercial and trial law firms in America and was the Founder, CEO of a private equity firm.
He holds a rare combination of business sense and tactical skill – having litigated disputes while a private equity CEO and as a trial litigator on behalf of some of the largest companies and wealthiest people in America.
