For years I dreamed of saying this: Today, I am proud to announce the launch of Albrecht Law.
We are a full-service M&A Law Firm with a particular focus on Independent Sponsors, Searchers, and Small Private Equity.
Our goal is to be a different kind of law firm. Our starting point is that each deal is unique. Each purchase or sale of a business is different and each client has specific concerns, abilities, and priorities. No deal is the same and M&A law cannot be done on a conveyor belt.
We partner with our clients through one of the most impactful times of their lives and have a keen sense of the subtleties of a deal and the market in which we operate.
I am guided by the ethics of my Jewish faith, “to save a life is to save an entire world.” I revere the immense value of a person's life and experience. Guiding someone through a transaction is a tremendous responsibility and honor.
Simply stated, we provide superb M&A legal representation for all aspects of the deal at a reasonable fixed fee weighted to closing.
Albrecht Law is laser-focused on sophisticated M&A representation. We have specialists in tax, employment, IP, and government contracts (whom you will meet in the coming week) to support your deal - when needed. We will help guide you to the right debt and equity sources, diligence partners, and do whatever needs to be done. We are not just your M&A counsel, but your guide to closing your deal.
We reconstructed our fee engagement to create a real partnership with clients. The old way of billing hourly on the clock for M&A does not work. Fees should be fixed and weighted to closing (with forgiveness for deal breaks). Our goal is to take risk alongside our clients and be value-based so we can do your small deals economically, and large deals thoroughly.
Family integration with M&A. M&A can be demanding and most of us are deal junkies. However, just like our clients who aim to gain autonomy and control over their lives, we are focused on prioritizing family, working remotely, and fitting work around carpools, little league games, and family dinners – not the other way around. This does not decrease work quality, rather when we are engaged with our home lives, we are better lawyers and better humans.
In the next ten years, 10 million Baby Boomer business owners plan to retire and many of those will sell their business to an Independent Sponsor, Searcher, or small Private Equity. I aim for Albrecht Law to create deep partnerships with my clients that last for the next 40 years of my career.
I am proud to introduce, Albrecht Law. I look forward to hearing from you and if you want to set up some time to talk, please fill out this form: HERE.
