Announcing New Tax Partner at Albrecht Law
Joshua Siegel joins Albrecht Law as Partner, Chair of Transactional Tax
On behalf of Albrecht Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, I am incredibly excited to welcome Joshua A. Siegel to head our transactional/M&A tax practice. Josh is a tax genius and one of the most impressive people I have met. He is a lawyer, and CPA, and has focused his entire career on M&A and transactional tax at the highest levels. He has worked on $40 billion Wall Street mergers and $5 million Main Street acquisitions.
Albrecht Law is building a team of people who are the absolute best at their craft. Indy Sponsors, Searchers, and small PE deserve the same top-notch legal minds as Wall Street Private Equity. Josh is one of those brilliant minds.
Josh specializes in:
1. Tax structuring, including structuring M&A transactions (i.e., QSBS, F-reorgs, Elections, HoldCos).
2. Buy-side and Sell-side tax due diligence for an acquisition.
3. Optimizing internal restructurings, and post-acquisition integration.
4. Business-specific tax structuring, and tax optimization planning.
Josh embodies the Albrecht Law values. He is focused on being amazing at his work while deeply dedicated to being a Dad to his three children, Isaac, Joey, and Aidan. He likes to play golf, and watch FSU football. The first time he rescheduled a call for kids' bedtime, I knew we would be a good fit.
Prior to joining Albrecht Law, Josh was Director, Transaction Tax at Baker Tilly, Senior Manager, M&A Tax at Deloitte, and Senior Associate, M&A at PWC. He graduated Cum Laude from University of Miami School of Law, has his L.L.M. in Tax Law, CPA Certification in California, and an MBA for good measure.
Josh is licensed as a CPA and Lawyer in California.
Please reach out to me or Josh directly (Josh@Albrecht.Law) if you have any questions.
